Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad Sofi, a distinguished ophthalmologist having MBBS and MS to his name, embarked on a journey of expertise and excellence in eye care.
His commitment to innovation and advanced knowledge led him to earn a coveted fellowship in Vitreo-retina and Ocular Oncology at Sankara Eye Hospital in Bengaluru, a distinction that sets him apart in Jammu and Kashmir and across India.
With a rich experience of 12 years, he has specialized in various facets of eye care, including Vitreo-retina, Ocular Oncology, Uvea, and the delicate field of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
Having previously served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Government Medical College, Jammu, and as a Consultant Vitreo-retina Surgeon at ASG Eye Hospitals, Srinagar, Dr. Ishfaq now holds the esteemed position of Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Vitreo-Retina and Ocular Oncology at Kashmir Eye Hospitals, Srinagar.
